Toys?

One of Jack's favorite activities is pulling all his toys out of his basket. I can't imagine what this will look like after Christmas. I think he'll be sharing some of his baby toys with his new cousin and a family friend soon. BTW, I have no idea what the clothes hanger is about or where he got it for that matter.

New Christmas PJs!

Jack has new PJs for Christmas. I have matching ones, but I won't scare anyone with a picture of me in my pajamas. They didn't have any matching ones for Daddy. :( Isn't he cute?

Oh Christmas Tree!

We finally got all our decorations up. We have yet to do the lights on the house, but daddy promises to do it early next week. Jack was um, er...helpful? Whenever I'm doing something lately, he insists on sitting on my feet. I went ahead and put up our big tree and the only modification I made was putting the breakable ornaments up high. Jack has been pretty good with the tree. I have been teaching him to be gentle with the cat by saying "Be gentle. Be safe." I just say that when he starts looking at and pointing to the ornaments on the tree. He seems to get what I'm saying. Don't worry; I'll post if he pulls the whole darn tree down on his head.

Thanksgiving (I'm finally getting around to it!)

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I was studying for my GRE and that took up all my free time while Jack was sleeping. It is over now, and I'm a free woman! I start grad school next semester. Wish me luck!

Jack had a great Thanksgiving. He was a wild man. The weather was nice, and we spent a good deal of our time outside. He ran, and ran, and ran. I don't know where he gets all that energy. He really enjoyed all the Thanksgiving food. I didn't realize how much of the Thanksgiving feast consists of casseroles, stuffing, and other soft, easy to chew foods. He pigged out!

Grammy made him a headband with a feather, but he didn't want to wear it. We snapped one quick picture. He tried to play football with his daddy and cousins.

As I said before, he wouldn't be still, so my pictures of the event aren't great. I couldn't get many of his face.

We went to Granny's for Thanksgiving the day after, but I forgot to take any pictures. Sorry.

THIS PRETTY MUCH SUMS UP THE WHOLE DAY!

CHEESE!

Jack is getting pretty good at giving me a huge grin when I say cheese. The other night he really enjoyed his spaghetti, and I wanted a picture of his cute, messy face. When I said cheese, this is what he gave me. I love this picture!

A Couple of Firsts

I finished my first digiscrap kit (yep, made it all by myself). To commerate the occasion, I scrapped Jack's first snow last March.
