My View From the Kitchen

Jack has always insisted that I stay in the same room he does. He usually prefers to play and explore on his own, and whether he decides to pay attention to me or not is entirely up to him. However, if I even act like I'm going into the other room for a minute, he gets upset with me. Here is what I see from the kitchen when I come back from a much needed bathroom break, etc: As you can see, I am being thoroughly scolded. He is insisting that I come back, sit on the couch, and supervise his independent play time. I think we're going to get out of the house tomorrow. We both need it! :)

Just Strolling Along...

Sorry I haven't been posting much; I really don't know where my mind's been. A few weeks ago Jack started walking behind his push toy. He's getting better by the day. He's also started to balance on his own for a second or two. I don't think he'll be walking by his birthday, but it probably won't be long after. Here's some video of him in action:

Trip to Fredericksburg

A few weeks ago, we went to Fredericksburg for a family member's 60th birthday party. We had a great time. Jack has a cousin who is almost the same age (only 3 days apart). We finally got to meet him. We stayed with my brother, sister-in-law, and niece in our RV.
